Resolved

The Butter app servers experienced some downtime from 1:30pm UTC to 2:00pm UTC due to the servers being overwhelmed by network requests.

The issue was resolved at 2:00pm UTC after we scaled our servers by 50%.

The issue looks similar to a DDOS. After some inspection we have identified a potential issue with one of our queries that may have caused a domino effect and took the server down. We are testing a patch fix and will be issuing it out a patch fix at 4:00pm UTC.

We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused.
